Inconel 800 Slatting Plates are primarily used in applications that involve continuous and intermittent service temperatures within the carbide precipitation range of 800°-1500°F. Inconel 800 Slatting Coils are very much similar to Grade 304, but with a titanium addition of at least five times the carbon content. Inconel 800 Perforated Sheets are molybdenum-containing austenitic steel intended to provide improved corrosion resistance relative in highly corrosive process environments, particularly those containing chlorides or other halides. The low carbon permits these Inconel 800 Perforated Plates, for to be welded without sensitization to intergranular corrosion resulting from chromium carbide precipitation in the grain boundaries.
